Silkscreen printing and the poster design were very long processes. First, I made my mood board to help generate a theme and overall idea for both my poster and t-shirt print. I took the colors and textures that were on my mood board and used them as my main references for my textures, lines, and values on my poster and t-shirt. I really enjoy the idea of embracing my own idea for someone else's creation, which is why I decided to create my own album cover for Chance The Rapper's music. I am in love with the values, use of space, and proportion withing my poster. The only thing I would change would be to emphasize the title that's located at the middle of the bottom of the poster, by increasing it's font size. For my silkscreen, I decided to step aside from my mood board, and chose to create my own design based off of the National Women's Soccer Team. I got this idea due to the fact that they were playing their qualifying games for the World Cup while this project was occurring. I love my proportions and use of space throughout the design, and the actual t-shirt. But, if I could change one thing, I would love to have more time on my detail, and to not rush while carving the illustrations.
